Prung Asian Cuisine opened in late 2025 at 51-20 Skillman Avenue in Woodside. In its own words it is a small, cozy, family- and woman-owned restaurant serving food from Southeast Asia.
The room is green and cream with marble tables, rattan-back chairs, fresh flowers, brass table lamps and a gold peacock mural — about 14 seats inside and 6 outside. The menu runs from chicken wings, crab rangoon and crispy calamari through pad thai, pad see eew and khao soi to crab curry, massaman duck and mango with sticky rice.
After a viral review in July 2026 the restaurant's Instagram (@prungnyc) grew past 23,000 followers; reservations are taken by phone.
